Overview
Uyanga & Bansara is a genre‑defying vocal–flute duo weaving ancient traditions with cinematic downtempo aesthetics. Led by Uyanga’s virtuosic, shape‑shifting voice and Bansara’s expressive flute and production, the project moves fluidly between ritual, improvisation, and immersive concert music. Drawing from Mongolian, Sufi, Hindustani, Balkan, and global folk lineages—filtered through classical technique and contemporary production—the duo creates music that feels both primal and futuristic, intimate and epic.
Their performances invite deep listening: voice as landscape, breath as rhythm, melody as memory.
Bio
Uyanga & Bansara unite two master musicians with deep roots in global traditions and modern cinematic work. Uyanga is an internationally acclaimed vocalist known for her wide stylistic range—from ethereal overtone textures and ancient folk timbres to operatic power and improvised vocal virtuosity. Her voice has been featured in major film, television, and video‑game soundtracks and performed on world stages with orchestras and ensembles across Europe and North America.
Bansara is a bansuri flutist, muti-instrumentalist producer, and sonic architect whose playing bridges Indian classical, world folk traditions, and electronic sound design. His work emphasizes breath, groove, and spaciousness—creating a fertile ground for spontaneous musical dialogue.
Together, Uyanga & Bansara craft immersive live experiences that blur the line between concert, ceremony, and storytelling. Their music often emerges through improvisation, shaped by place, audience, and moment—honoring tradition while allowing something entirely new to arise.

Live Performance
